Why should you hire a web designer?
Your website is your online shop window.
If you owned a physical shop and you wanted to sell a lot of goods, you would want the shop to look tidy, pristine and professional. You would put a lot of effort into the contents, layout and aesthetic.
Unfortunately, however, for the average person designing a website is not as simple as designing a shop window.
Web design is architecture for websites. You can also see it as online shop window design. A web designer is experienced and savvy creating virtual shop windows to help attract customers. As a result, by hiring me, you are guaranteed a few things you wouldn’t be otherwise…
1. Professional-looking website
Nowadays, anyone can create a website. In recent years website builders such as Wix, Squarespace and Weebly have made it far easier for novices to create their own websites. Sometimes it goes great. But often I’ve seen people be disappointed by the results. They lose motivation and their website never looks as professional as it could.
As an experienced coder, I can bypass the limitations of most website builders and dive directly into the code powering a site. This edge is what allows me to create websites with a professional look.
2. Lower long-term costs
I’ve noticed that people who have purchased web addresses and hosting via website builders are often paying far more than I am for my websites! These are long term costs (we’re talking years!!)
Ideally, you’d pay more initially to get a great website designed plus be set up with a good deal for a web address and hosting. Then long-term you’d pay less money than if you’d done the typical novice’s route. As your web designer, I’d help you get a good deal.
3. Save time
Lastly, hiring a web designer saves you time. While I set up your website, you can be focused on aspects of your career / business / project that interest you much more.
